My family and I are from Savannah Georgia so when we came to Spondivits 20 years ago, we heard that you were the best around in comparison to what we were used to. And I must say that we were a little critical beforehand because we are congenital seafood connoisseurs, it’s in our blood. Upon first arrival, it reminded me so much of being back home on the waterfront, the vibe was so real. Hands down the food was comparable to the seafood back home on the coast and I have not found another seafood restaurant in Atlanta that even compares to Spondivits. So every event holiday or just a Monday where we were bored and needed an excuse to go out, we came to Spondivits! Then fast forward about 3 years later and I had my first date with my now husband here (who hated seafood). I coerced him into trying a little piece of snow crab and I don’t know if he really liked it or just acted like he did to win me over. And finally he tasted my oysters and people let me tell you, he fell in love with the oysters and now eats them regularly. So I have to give spondivits credit for my connection to my husband who I love from his head to his toes. And 20 years later spondivits remains my family’s first pick for any and every occasion. I love you guys!
